Little Angels Nursery School

Little Angels Nursery Induction Period:

Once you have signed up for a place at Little Angels Nursery, and have completed the nursery entry record and child care agreement form, parents and children are invited to attend 3 free hours of induction sessions. The induction sessions are instrumental for both parents and children in getting to meet our community at the nursery, as well as meeting your childs key worker. We recommend that the best time to take these sessions are between 9.00am 11.00am, or 2.00pm and 4.00pm. We ask parents to stay during the first session and if parents want to they are welcome to leave them for the second session.

Once your child’s place has been confirmed at Little Angels Nursery and the induction complete, each new child can expect;

  • a Nursery-Home Book A recording all the fun activities done at nursery and at home;
  • a named coat peg;
  • A sleep bag with own bedding
  • a classroom drawer to store your child work (Pre School);
  • professional nursery photographs (Autumn Term)

Little Angels Nursery Key Worker System:

Each child at Little Angels has a designated key worker. The key worker is the individual who is in charge of overseeing your child care, emotional and physical well being. Key workers are of primary importance, acting as a link between home and nursery. During observations your child’s needs and capabilities will be monitored and this will provide an indication as to how the key worker will best support and challenge them in the future. Your key worker is also an individual who will address any concerns or queries you may have regarding your child. Our key worker system reflects our open door policy of parents as partners at Little Angels Nursery, where parents and carers can join in as much or as little as they chose.
